The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to announce the hiring of its new Operations Manager, CWSO’s co-principal cellist Heidi Corcoran. Speaking about her new position recently, Corcoran said, “The first few weeks in this role have been both busy and energizing. Running Noteworthy Music Studio with my husband has really sharpened my skills in organization, communication, and problem-solving. I’m excited to bring that experience into this position and support the orchestra’s day-to-day operations in a meaningful way.”

“We are so excited to add Heidi to the CWSO team!” said Dr. Andy Moran, CWSO’s Music and Executive Director. “Her energy and enthusiasm for the CWSO have contributed to our mission for many years as a musician and advocate. Her business and administrative expertise will be a tremendous positive for us moving forward.”

Heidi began Suzuki cello lessons at the age of five, studying under Kathy Franceski and Lawrence Leviton. She attended Luther college as an undergrad, studying cello performance and graduating in 2002. She then went on for master’s course work at UW-Milwaukee and UWStevens Point. She has performed with the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra (CWSO) for over 20 years and is an active performer throughout the Central Wisconsin area, playing a wide variety of gigs and events.

In addition to performing, Corcoran co-owns and operates Noteworthy Music Studio with herhusband, Aaron Marx, where they provide private music lessons for students of all ages.
