Holidays with the CWSO: Featuring Wausau Lyric Choir and Monteverdi Chorale presenting Handel's Messiah
Woodlands Church - 190 Hoover Avenue, Plover

Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra's 74 Season Holiday Concert features The Messiah by G.F. Handel. CWSO will be joined by the Wausau Lyric Choir and Monteverdi Chorale to create a musical centerpiece for the holidays. This dramatic masterpiece includes Handel's rousing and immortal “Hallelujah” chorus. The Messiah is one of the most performed works in the history of classical music. It celebrates the meaning of the holiday season and allows us to come together to enjoy Handel’s masterwork as a community. The CWSO will be joined by four accomplished soloists – Susan Bender (soprano), Chelsea Betz (alto), Dennis Wilhoit (tenor) and Samuel Handley (bass).
