Symphony No. 4 - Gustav Mahler

Mahler composed some of the most deeply personal and powerful orchestral music in the history of classical music. His Symphony No. 4 in G Major is a delightful and uplifting journey that blends whimsical charm with stunning beauty. The addition of a celestial soprano solo in the final movement adds a magical touch.

Featured Artist

Soprano SONIA GRIMSLED has performed in a variety of classical and contemporary music styles with organizations across the Midwest, the Pacific Northwest, as well as in France. Favorite roles include Franca Naccarelli in Adam Guettel’s The Light in the Piazza, Maman in Maurice Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges, Antonia in Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffman, and Countess Almaviva in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro. Grimsled lives in central Wisconsin where she teaches for the prestigious BFA Musical Theatre program at UW-Stevens Point and runs a thriving independent studio through Noteworthy Music Studio. She is a NATS member and was a semifinalist in the 2024 NATS Artist Awards in New York. Grimsled holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from UW-Stevens Point.
